Information about cookies
This section of the Furla.com website (www.furla.com) uses cookies and similar technologies to improve the browsing experience and allows Furla to send promotional messages to the user that are consistent with his/her interests, as more fully described below.
Definitions
Cookies are simple text files that allow the website server to store information on the user’s device (tablet, smartphone, etc.) during his/her browsing session (session cookies) and for subsequent visits (persistent cookies). They are stored by the browser based on settings selected by the user. To gather information on visitor behaviour, similar technologies could also be used, such as web beacons, transparent GIFs and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML 5. For simplicity, references to “cookies” include all similar technologies.
Types of cookies
Technical cookies
Session cookies: these are essential to ensure the proper functioning of the website and are used to manage the registration or log-in as well as access to reserved functionality. They are temporarily stored during the browsing session and are automatically deleted by the user’s device when the browser is closed. Please note that by disabling session cookies, the user may not be able to access all of the functionalities that require registration or log-in. The processing performed by these cookies is necessary to fulfil a contract to which the user is a party, namely, for services of the Furla website (Art. 6.1 b) of the GDPR).
Persistent cookies, for site optimization and statistics: allow Furla to collect and analyse (anonymously) data on site traffic and usage, monitor the system and improve operational performance, for example, by storing user preferences to improve subsequent visits. They are not automatically deleted when the browser is closed, but are saved on the user's computer for a set period (e.g., until the end of the year) or until they are cancelled by the user. The processing performed by these cookies is necessary to fulfil a contract to which the user is a party, namely, for services of the Furla website (Art. 6.1 b) of the GDPR).
For more information on how to manage and delete these cookies, see the "Cookie Management" section below. Please note that by disabling or refusing cookies, some parts of this site may be inaccessible or not function properly.

_hjIncludedInSample | Analytical | Hotjar | 365 days | Hotjar cookie. This session cookie is set to let Hotjar know whether that visitor is included in the sample which is used to generate funnels. |
_hjShownFeedbackMessage | Analytical | Hotjar | 365 days | This cookie is set when a visitor minimizes or completes Incoming Feedback. This is done so that the Incoming Feedback will load as minimized immediately if they navigate to another page where it is set to show. |
_hjid | Analytical | Hotjar | 365 days | Hotjar cookie. This cookie is set when the customer first lands on a page with the Hotjar script. It is used to persist the Hotjar User ID, unique to that site on the browser. This ensures that behavior in subsequent visits to the same site will be attributed to the same user ID. |
hjRecordingLastActivity | Analytical | Hotjar | Session | This should be found in sessionStorage (as opposed to cookies). This gets updated when a visitor recording starts and when data is sent through the WebSocket (the visitor performs an action that Hotjar records). |
hjTLDTest | Analytical | Hotjar | Session | When the Hotjar script executes we try to determine the most generic cookie path we should use, instead of the page hostname. This is done so that cookies can be shared across subdomains (where applicable). To determine this, we try to store the _hjTLDTest cookie for different URL substring alternatives until it fails. After this check, the cookie is removed. |
_hjUserAttributesHash | Analytical | Hotjar | Session | User Attributes sent through the Hotjar Identify API are cached for the duration of the session in order to know when an attribute has changed and needs to be updated. |
